Chicory contains inulin, fructose, intibin, organic acids, carotenes, minerals and vitamins B1, B2, PP, C. The roots of the plant are used. Chicory can be used by people who for health reasons can not drink regular coffee or want a healthier option. Inulin in chicory improves bowel health, relieves acid reflux and stimulates digestion. Chicory reduces cholesterol levels and thus fights atherosclerosis and high blood pressure. The content of inulin and oligofructose regulate the levels of the amino acid grylin, which is associated with the feeling of hunger. Method of use:

1-2 teaspoons of chicory are poured with 100 ml of boiling water or prepared on a jezve as usual coffee. It can be sweetened with natural sweeteners such as stevia, erythritol, maple syrup, etc. If the amount of chicory increases, the taste becomes denser and stronger. The water can be replaced with milk or vegan nut milk.
