PRODUCT INFORMATION
Cassava or Tapioca has been used for food since Mayan times. The most commonly consumed part of the plant is the root. When ground into powder, it can replace regular flour in the diet of people suffering from food allergies. Tapioca flour does not contain gluten, which makes it preferable for gluten intolerance. It has a high energy value and is rich in proteins and important minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron, etc. Tapioca contains choline, which is extremely important for metabolism in the body. It can be used for various combinations with other flours to prepare pasta and bread products. With its thickening and gelling properties, it is suitable for the preparation of a variety of soups, sauces, creams, smoothies and dishes.
Ingredients:
Modified starch extracted from the tuber roots of the cassava plant (Manihot esculenta). Viscosity: 500-700 BU, which meets the starch specifications of Directive 2012/231 / EE for e1322.
Method of use:
For use in cooking: 1 tablespoon tapioca flour equals 2.5 tablespoons wheat flour.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, without direct sunlight.
