PRODUCT INFORMATION

Acetyl L-Carnitine is an amino acid naturally formed in the body and is a derivative of carnitine (involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates and proteins and in the transport of fats to the mitochondria). Acetyl L-Carnitine increases the levels of carnitine in the tissues and has an even stronger action in metabolism.

Action of Acetyl L-Carnitine:

• Benefits for the brain: Acetyl L-Carnitine is the only form of carnitine that can cross the blood-brain barrier and serves as a neurotransmitter. Supports thought processes, memory and concentration. Protects brain cells from damage associated with age-related changes.
