The two carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin absorb light, protecting the eyes from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays and oxygen radicals. Since they are not produced naturally by the body, it is necessary to take them through food and dietary supplements.
Method of use:
As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule a day with water or food.
Maximum daily dose:
Zeaxanthin – from red pepper) – 2 mg, lutein ( from marigold flower extract) - 20 mg.
