Milk thistle is a well-known herb that is used to protect and treat the liver. Its beneficial action is due to the active ingredient in the plant silymarin. Silymarin is a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory and anti-metastatic action. Milk thistle seeds protect liver cells from harmful substances in smoking, alcohol abuse and fatty foods. They can be used in the treatment of hepatitis, cirrhosis, jaundice, cholecystopathy, gallstones, constipation, chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, hemorrhoids and varicose veins.

Method of use:

1 tablespoon seeds are crushed and boiled in 500 ml of water until it remains half. The tea is strained and the resulting amount is drunk throughout the day in sips as often as possible.
