Eyebright Stalk, Euphrasia Officinalis, 50 g

PRODUCT INFORMATION

In ophthalmia, blepharitis and any other eye inflammation, Eyebright tea can be useful when used as a cold eye compress.

It is believed that the compounds in the plant have properties that help fight inflammation, pathogenic bacteria, fungi, viruses. It is also considered an antioxidant, antihypertensive, antiepileptic and anticataral supplement.

The use of the herb ochanka is also effective in treating respiratory problems such as colds, bronchitis, allergies and sinusitis. Skin problems, including stretch marks and acne, can be solved well with eyelid procedures.

Eyebright can be used to prepare a paw and applied topically to wounds on the skin. Cold paw of the herb is effective in relieving skin inflammation:

gives the body tone;
strengthens the walls of blood vessels, narrows them and lowers blood pressure;
improves the work of the intestines and stomach;
strengthens the immune system, preventing disease;
saturates with vitamins;

Composition

Euphrasia officinalis L.

How to use Eyebright, stalk:

Internally:

2 tbsp. herb is boiled in 500 ml of boiling water. After straining, drink 150 ml before meals 3 times a day.

Externally:

For blepharitis and conjunctivitis:

decoction of 3 teaspoons ochanka, poured with 2 cups of water - for warm eye baths
 
Treatment for chordeolum (barley on the eyelashes):

Five tablespoons of equal parts of the herbs ochanka and chamomile flowers are poured with a glass of boiling water, boiled for 10 minutes. The resulting slurry is placed in gauze and applied, as far as can be tolerated, hot on the chordeolum

Side effects of  Eyebright:

It is contraindicated for use during pregnancy; chronic diseases in the acute stage; breastfeeding; intoxication; stomach ulcer; gastritis; low acid environment in the stomach; allergic reaction to plant components.
