Valerian can help reduce hot flashes in postmenopausal women who experience premenstrual syndrome (PMS) or painful periods.

In neuroses, increased excitability, climacteric nervous disturbances, hysteria, insomnia, migraine, cardiac neurosis with rapid heart activity, extrasystoles, etc. It is also used in hypertensive disease, spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts, etc.

Method of use:

One tablespoon of the roots is poured with 250ml of cold water. It is left to soak for 24 hours, after which the resulting extract is boiled for 2-3 minutes. It is filtered and drunk several times during the day.
