Wild мarjoram herb
Use: for flu, colds, shortness of breath, indigestion, painful menstruation, stomach and intestinal pain, whooping cough, acute bronchitis, liver disorders, jaundice, nervous weakness, sexual arousal, insomnia, epilepsy (due to its anesthetic and antiseptic action).
Externally: in the form of a compress and paws for asthma, arthritis, muscle aches and for baths for itchy eczema, especially for young children and for washing wounds.
The herb is also called Balkan tea, cranberry grass and black tip. Its Latin name is Herba Origanum Vulgare L.
Description: Perennial herbaceous plant, up to 60 cm tall with middle leaves, with reddish or pink-purple flowers, with a pleasant odor and slightly bitter taste. It blooms in summer.
Chemical composition: Essential oil of monoterpenes and phenols thymol and carvacrol; geranyl acetate, tannins, tannins, vitamin C, mineral salts, bitter substances, fats, provitamin A, drying fatty oil.
Preparation: 2 teaspoons of the herb are poured with 1/4 liter of boiling water, after cooling strain.
Externally: 20-30 g of the herb is boiled in 1 liter of boiling water. For baths use infusion of 100-200 g per 3.2 liters of boiling water.
Usage: 3 tea cups a day before meals. Externally: in the form of paws and baths.
