PRODUCT INFORMATION

The horsetail  (Equisetum)  is the only extant genus from the Horsetail division (Equisetophyta). The name Horsetail comes from the Slavic word "hvost", which means tail. This is also the origin of the scientific name of the genus — Equisetum. It is made up of the Latin words equus = horse and saeta = hair, mane.

Horsetail has a blood-sparing, anti-inflammatory, genitourinary, constipation and reminerelizing effect. Due to the content of silicic acid and its derivatives, Horsetail was used in the past as a means of fighting tuberculosis (helps calcination of tuberculosis outbreaks). In addition, the herb supports the healing processes of connective tissue, epidermis and mucous membranes, maintaining the elasticity of blood vessels, acting favorably for the maintenance of hair, skin and nails.

In folk medicine, horsetail is used for sand and stones in the kidneys and bile, bleeding, pulmonary tuberculosis, dropsy, gout, rheumatism, atherosclerosis, urination, stomach pain, urination of blood, bleeding in the lungs.

Method of use:

As a dietary supplement, take one capsule twice a day with water before meals.
