The pumpkin seed is flat, asymmetrically oval and dark green in color. Some are enveloped in a yellowish-white peel, but there are varieties of pumpkins whose seeds are uncoated. Pumpkin seed is soft as a texture, and the taste is a subtle sweet note with a walnut feel.
