 Also, Blood Geranium is a diuretic, hemostatic, immunostimulating and tonic agent. These qualities make it suitable for inclusion in cancer therapy.

Geranium has a beneficial effect on the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow, stimulating the production of erythrocytes. This makes it particularly suitable for use in anemia, heavy menstruation and bleeding.

Blood geranium has hemostatic properties and can act as an agent to stop internal bleeding. In addition, the herb is used for hemoptysis (discharge of blood or bloody mucus), hematuria (presence of blood in the urine) and profuse menstrual bleeding, and externally to stop bleeding and heal wounds.

The herb has a proven effect against herpes viruses type 1 and 2.

As a mouthwash or gargle, the herb can be effective against thrush, mouth and throat inflammation, tonsillitis, and toothache.

Method of use:

 2 teaspoons of finely chopped roots are soaked in 1/2 liter of cold water for 8 hours and strained through cheesecloth. The rest of the straining is used for compresses and tampons.

Use:

Apply only as a cold extract obtained from the roots, 3 times a day for 150 ml before meals.
