PRODUCT INFORMATION

Famotidine alkaloid contains the strongest H2 receptor blocker, which suppresses the increased acid secretion of the gastric glands. Symptoms such as burning, heartburn, and pain behind the sternum may occur after eating, lying down, or after heavy physical work.

Contraindications:

Do not take Famotidine alkaloid if you are allergic to Famotidine or any of the other ingredients. Do not take Famotidine alkaloid if you are allergic to other medicines in this group, such as Ranitidine and cimetidine. Do not take Famotidine alkaloid if you feel pain when swallowing or feel food stuck in your throat, if you have recently experienced unwanted weight loss, repeated vomiting, vomiting blood or black stools. Do not take if you have or have had problems with your liver or kidneys. It is not recommended to take Famotidine alkaloid during pregnancy and lactation (Famotidine alkaloid passes into breast milk). Do not use in children under 12 years of age.

Taking other medicines:

Caution should be exercised when taking Atazanair, as Famotidine alkaloid causes a decrease in concentration and thus a decrease in therapeutic effect and the development of resistance. Ketoconazole and Itraconazole (used to treat fungal infections) and probenecid (to treat gout) with Famotidine alkaloid may also affect the therapeutic effect. When taking antacids (used to reduce stomach acids) you should wait 1-2 hours after taking Famotidine alkaloid, and if taking sucralfate (in the treatment of an ulcer) you should wait 2 hours before or after taking Famotidine alkaloid.

Food, drink and alcohol intake:

For better efficiency, the tablets are taken 1 hour before food and drink. It is recommended to avoid caffeine and certain spices. With concurrent intake with alcohol, Famotidine alkaloid does not change the concentration of alcohol in the blood.

Driving and using machines:

Do not drive or use machines until you are sure how Famotidine alkaloid works because reactions such as dizziness and headache have been observed.

Method of use:

For oral use. Adults: 1 tablet with water in the morning and evening before sleep. Children 12 to 18 years: 1 tablet per day. If you do not feel better or worse after 14 days, you should seek medical help.

Overdose and dose omission:

If you take more than the recommended dose, contact a doctor immediately. If you forget to take a dose, take it when you have established a pro-release. If the next dose is approaching, skip the forgotten dose and continue as recommended. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
