Internal: gastrointestinal diseases (gastritis, colitis, dysentery, intestinal disorders), liver, bile and kidney diseases, rheumatism, inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. It has a burning, diaphoretic and diuretic effect.
Externally: for rinsing with hemorrhoids, sore throat, runny nose, eczema, eye inflammation, bleeding gums.
The herb is also called ochtiche, rebnik, yeast or burdock. Its Latin name is Agrimonia Eupatoria.
Description: Perennial plant with an upright, hairy stem and 3 to 5 pairs of leaves: consecutive, just pinnate, toothed, gray-fibrous below, dark green above. Colors yellow, small. It blooms in summer. The healing whip reaches a height of 60 cm and a width of 30 cm.
Chemical composition: Essential oil, tannins, flavonoids, silicic acid, bitter substances, nicotinic acid, manganese, vitamins.
Preparation: 2 tablespoons of the herb are poured with 400 ml of boiling water. It stays for 1 hour and is filtered (dose for 1 day).
Usage: 1 cup of coffee before meals three times a day.
Note: Do not use in patients with constipation caused by stress. Contraindications in the presence of chronic heart and kidney failure.
