1. What FERVEX FOR ADULTS is and what it is used for

FERVEX FOR ADULTS contains paracetamol.

FERVEX FOR ADULTS is a combination of analgesic / antipyretic, antiallergic and ascorbic acid.

This medicine is used to treat colds, allergic rhinitis, rhinopharyngitis and flu-like conditions in adults and children over 15 years of age.

If the symptoms of fever last for more than 3 days and the other symptoms for more than 5 days and / or worsen, or if another symptom appears after taking the medicine, you do not feel better or your condition worsens, you should seek medical advice. help.

2. What you need to know before you take FERVEX FOR ADULTS

Do not take FERVEX FOR ADULTS

if you are allergic to the active substances or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
This medicine should not be used in the following cases:

serious liver disease
some forms of glaucoma
diseases of the prostate and urinary tract
in children under 15 years
in fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrose-isomaltase deficiency due to the presence of glucose.
Warnings and precautions

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist immediately in case of overdose or accidental overdose. This medicine contains paracetamol. Other medicines also contain this substance. Do not combine such medicines so as not to exceed the recommended daily dose (see "How to take FERVEX FOR ADULTS").

The temperature should drop quickly.

Do not exceed the indicated dosage and consult a doctor immediately in case of overdose.

Do not use the medicine for long-term treatment without a doctor's prescription, especially if the symptoms of fever last more than 3 days and the other symptoms last more than 5 days and / or worsen, or another symptom appears after taking the medicine.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have kidney disease, pregnancy or breast-feeding;
Tell your doctor or pharmacist when you are taking another medicine at the same time.
Alcohol or sedatives should not be taken during treatment.
Each sachet contains 1.5 g of sucrose, which should be taken into account in diets with low sugar or diabetes.
Other medicines and FERVEX FOR ADULTS

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.

To avoid the harmful effects of overdose, DO NOT COMBINE other medicines containing antihistamines or paracetamol WITHOUT CONSULTING A DOCTOR. WHEN YOU DOUBT, DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.

Alcohol should not be consumed during treatment.

Pregnancy and lactation

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

As a precautionary measure, this drug is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.

Driving and using machines

People who drive or use machines should be warned about the risk of drowsiness when using this medicine.

3. How to take FERVEX FOR ADULTS

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose for adults and children over 15 years is: 1 sachet, 2 or 3 times a day.

The interval between two doses should be at least 4 hours. The contents of the sachet should be taken with a sufficient amount of hot or cold water. Oral administration.

In flu-like conditions, it is recommended that the medicine be taken with hot water in the evening as soon as the first symptoms appear.

In cases of acute renal failure (creatinine clearance <10 ml / min), the interval between two doses should be at least 8 hours.

Do not use this medicine for long-term treatment without consulting a doctor, especially if the symptoms last for more than 5 days.

If you take more FERVEX ADULT than you should

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them

Occurrence of an acute attack of glaucoma in people who have such a predisposition.
Urinary disorders (significant decrease in urine, difficulty urinating)
Dry mouth, accommodation disorders (the ability of the eye to adjust to seeing at different distances), constipation
Disorders of memory or concentration, confusion, dizziness (more common in elderly patients).
Lack of coordination in movements, trembling.
Drowsiness, decreased attention - more pronounced at the beginning of treatment.
Rare cases of skin rash, reddening of the skin or an allergic reaction in the form of sudden swelling of the face or neck, or sudden malaise with a drop in blood pressure have been reported. Treatment should be stopped immediately, the advice of a doctor should be sought and no more medicines containing paracetamol or pheniramine should be taken.
Several rare cases of change in laboratory test results have been reported, e.g. very low levels of some white blood cells or platelets, which can lead to bleeding from the nose or gums. In this case, consult a doctor.

5. How to store FERVEX FOR ADULTS

Keep out of reach of children. Store below 25 ° C.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
