Jojoba oil is extracted by pressing the seeds from the plant. It consists mainly of higher fatty acids associated with higher alcohols. Although it is called oil, it is actually liquid wax. It is unique in composition and qualities among all other vegetable oils. Interestingly, it is very similar to human sebum (which makes it a natural alternative to moisturizing creams). Jojoba oil is highly penetrating and contains powerful antioxidants, it is easily applied and absorbed quickly, hydrates and strengthens the skin in depth. Dilution 1:20 in base oil for use on the body or 1: 40 for use on the face.
