How to use?
Mung beans is a common product in Indian and Oriental cuisine. It is often cooked in combination with basmati rice and vegetables. In Indonesian cuisine is prepared in the form of porridge, and in Chinese it is popular in the form of a sweet beverage for sprouts.
With Mung bean we can make delicious, healthy soup, salads, mash and more.
Mung green beans can also be used for sprouting. To do this, you need about 25 grams of mung bean.
Put 2 tablespoons of beans in a jar or other suitable container. Add water to cover the beans completely. Store the jar in a dark place at room temperature.
Strain the beans every morning and replace with fresh water. In a few days the seeds will begin to germinate. When the leaves start to turn yellow and the sprouts grow about 1 cm, you can move them in sunlight. Continue to rinse and replace the water until the leaves turn green. The sprouts are then ready for consumption. Store ready-made sprouts in the refrigerator.
