Description: one-year-old herbaceous plant with a straight, mossy stem up to 20 cm, jagged leaves, white or pale pink flowers. Taste from August to September.
Chemical composition: monosaccharides and sugar alcohol (sorbitol), sucrose, pectins, organic acids, flavonoids, anthocyanins, tanning substances, carotenoids, vitamin C and others.
Application: Internal - inflammation of the bronchial lining with cough, laryngitis; Inflammatory processes of the gastrointestinal tract. Externally: for conjunctivitis, for improvement of vision and for fatigue.
Preparation: Spice: 2 suppositories of the herb are poured with 1/2 l of boiling water. Sweetened with honey can be drunk as tea.Otvara: 3 teaspoons. Herb brew in 1/4 l water for 10 min.
Usage: internally - in the form of a 100 ml infusion 4 times a day before meals. Outdoors: in the form of a decoction for warm baths of the eyes. Attention: the plant is pungent! Admission may only be made by doctor's prescription!
